The direct-to-consumer aligner system reportedly relies entirely on teledentistry-based case review, allowing consumers to access the system from their web-enabled device.

U Smile Dental LLC, also known as 123-Align, recently launched its Smiles for All at-home clear aligner system. The system relies on a 100% teledentistry-based aligner case review service, allowing consumers to access the system from their mobile phone, tablet, or computer.

The 123-Align clear aligner uses a medical polymer material that reportedly is highly transparent, BPA free, latex free, and 100% recyclable, which is inline with the company’s green planet mission.

According to a press release from the company, it consults with a team of expert U.S. licensed dentists in 45 states to “ensure medical/dental history and 3D treatment design review as well as invisible aligner case (mild to moderate) approval without visits to the dental clinical.”

The company says its focus is on giving consumers access to aligners at an affordable price.
