The clear Freddy ceramic button (shown in photo above) is designed for use with all aesthetic appliances and works both lingually and labially. The button features a mesh base intended for strong bonding with common adhesives.
The button’s base size fits all teeth, and has enough space around the tie wing for elastics. When used with aligner treatment, the clear button is designed to maintain the aligner’s transparent look.
Meanwhile, the Freddy hook (shown right) features a smooth low profile and ellipse shape. According to the company, it shares the same features as the standard Freddy button. The Freddy hook can be used when treating with clear aligners or lingual Class II mechanics.
