Get-braces.com, Salt Lake City, has developed a widget that allows orthodontists to put a braces color picker on their Web sites. The widget is free and can be installed by copying and pasting a few lines of code. The code is designed to work with most standard Web sites, and once it has been installed, Get-Braces.com updates the widget automatically.
The widget allows orthodontic patients to customize the color of the bands on their braces and design how they will look. Patients can drag and drop braces with different colored bands onto an image of a full set of teeth. Patients can design patterns and coordinate colors. The widget allows patients to choose from 24 different colors of bands that orthodontists typically have in their practices.
