The new B2B provider network offers custom Hawley retainers featuring precious metals and gemstones for dental and orthodontic practices.
The team behind The House of Melz and Melz Grillz has launched Icy Ortho, a luxury orthodontic appliance concept that incorporates precious metals, natural diamonds, and gemstones into custom Hawley retainers.
The company aims to combine clinical function with luxury craftsmanship, offering patients an appliance that also serves as a personalized accessory.
“We believe what you wear in your smile can be just as personal as the jewelry you choose to wear anywhere else,” says Dr Melz, founder of The House of Melz, in a release. “Icy Ortho represents the evolution of that idea—bringing together dentistry, design and luxury in a way that allows patients to express themselves without losing sight of clinical function.”
Custom Retainer Designs
Icy Ortho offers six standard Hawley retainer designs: Single Pavé Bar, Double Pavé Bar, Name Plate Standard, Name Plate Icy, Baguette Bar, and Round + Baguette Bar. The company also provides custom builds that allow for different colored stones and individualized design preferences.
B2B Provider Network
Operating exclusively as a wholesale manufacturer and supplier, Icy Ortho provides its products to licensed dental and orthodontic practices through a B2B model. The company says it is building a professional provider network rather than selling directly to consumers.
Network access is referral-only, with eligibility geared toward practices that have an existing patient base demonstrating interest in luxury or aesthetic dental appliances. Practices interested in joining the provider network can begin the credentialing and application process by contacting the company directly.
