Paradise Dental Supplies, Riverside, Calif, has unveiled a new toothbrush designed for orthodontic patients, according to the Woman Dentist Journal. The new brush features a narrow V-trim with a fold-out proxy brush on the opposite end. The spiral brush on the end goes between orthodontic wires and the tooth to clean plaque from the enamel under the wire and around the bracket. The brush has a rubber handle for a firm grip.
The orthodontic dual-head toothbrush will be available in January 2010, according to the company.
