AAO Seeks Hosts for AAO Live at Annual Session

AAO Live is a new feature created to provide additional content for attendees attending the Annual Session virtually.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is putting out a call for enthusiastic members to host a new feature at this year’s Annual Session. Members selected for this role will host daily segments for the brand new AAO Live broadcast. Hosts will give a first-hand account of what is happening live from the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Members interested being an AAO Live Host are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague by creating a short video telling the AAO why you are the person for the job. Entries to be an AAO Live host should be sent to Melissa Weishaupt at [email protected] by March 15, 2022 to be considered.

The Annual Session will be held May 21 to 24, 2022.

Currently, the AAO is offering registration incentives for orthodontic teams, residents, and new graduates. The early registration deadline to attend in person is April 30, 2022, and comes with a $150 discount for registering by that date. The AAO is offering a 20% discount on Annual Session registration when registering 4 or more staff as a group for the in-person meeting. The early registration discount also applies to team members. Orthodontic teams will also receive a $25 per person discount for AAO Orthodontic Staff Club members. For student (resident) AAO members, registration for the in-person Annual Session is free through the early registration deadline.
