The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) announced that the former AAO Tech Talk Blog is now an interactive, private group on Facebook. The group is open to AAO members who are interested in technology topics relevant to the orthodontic practice.
The Facebook group was created and is actively moderated by the AAO Committee on Technology (CTECH), including members Neal Kravitz, DMD, MS, and Matt Larson, DDS, MS.
According to the AAO, current trending topics on the Facebook page include 3D printing, in-office aligners, customized brackets, artificial intelligence, and smartphone applications. CTECH plans to use the page to provide multi-level content on the use of clinical and practice management technologies.
