The accepted abstracts for poster presentations will be featured at the OSAP Annual Conference scheduled to take place in June in Tucson, Ariz.

The deadline for infection control clinicians, educators, and researchers worldwide to submit abstracts for poster presentations at the 2021 OSAP Annual Conference is Friday, February 5, 2021. The abstracts can consist of literature reviews, original research, meta-analyses, and case reports.

OSAP—the Organization for Safety Asepsis and Prevention—welcomes submissions from individuals at all career stages. More than one abstract can be submitted.

All abstracts undergo an extensive peer review process. OSAP may publish accepted abstracts in a special issue of the OSAP Journal of Dental Infection Control and Safety. Presenting authors also receive a 25% discount off conference registration fees.

OSAP also announced that for the first time since 2015, it will award the James A. Cottone Award for Excellence in Investigative Research. The award includes a cash award of $500 and a plaque recognizing that the winning abstract received the highest review.

The 2021 OSAP Annual Conference is scheduled for June 3 to 5, 2021 in Tucson, Ariz.
