The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is reminding members that there are only 2 weeks left to register for the upcoming AAO annual Session in Miami Beach, Fla, from May 21 to 24. The AAO is offering both in-person and virtual options, which include CE credits.
According to the AAO, in-person attendees will be able to enjoy new special events that take advantage of the Miami Beach locale and an updated exhibit hall experience. In addition, the AAO Annual Session will feature a new Innovation Pavilion.
The Innovation Pavilion will be the site of the AAO TechSelect booth and TechSelect LIVE! program, which explores in-house aligner fabrication processes. A new feature also housed in the Innovation Pavilion at the annual session is Ortho Tank. Ortho Tank offers developers of some of today’s most cutting-edge orthodontic products an opportunity to pitch potential investors for funding.
Inspired by the television series Shark Tank, Ortho Tank will be hosted by AAO Trustee Dr Trista Felty.
The Innovation Pavilion will also be the site of the new AAO Live series and feature the return of FRED Talks (free, relevant, exhibitor-driven lectures), which debuted at the 2019 AAO Annual Session.
