American Orthodontics, Sheboygan, Wis, recently launched its new POWER2Reason educational blog. According to a release from the company, the blog is designed to deliver thought-provoking, clinical articles to the global orthodontic community.
The monthly posts will feature both original and previously published articles by well-known names in the industry, including Birte Melsen, DDS, DrOdont professor and head of the department of orthodontics at The School of Dentistry, Aarhus University, Denmark. Melsen will serves as editor of the blog and authors the first post, which examines the idea of an “easy” versus a “difficult” case.
“We want to further drive home the importance of evidence-based education,” says Michael Terrill, vice president of marketing for American Orthodontics. “This blog will present evidence from a variety of schools of thought, and is a fantastic way for orthodontists to boost their clinical knowledge.”
