The cybersecurity firm has appointed Paul Blocchi to lead its artificial intelligence initiatives for the dental and healthcare industries.
Black Talon Security, a cybersecurity solutions provider specializing in the dental and healthcare industries, has named Paul Blocchi its director of AI. Blocchi previously served as a senior cyber risk specialist at the firm.
In his new role, Blocchi will lead the company’s AI strategic initiatives, focusing on integrating intelligent automation into internal workflows and the company’s proprietary EAGLEi cyber risk management platform.
New Role to Focus on AI Governance and Integration
Blocchi’s primary responsibilities will include helping healthcare leadership teams manage data security and risk as they adopt artificial intelligence. His work will concentrate on establishing frameworks for the ethical use of AI, ensuring AI implementation aligns with healthcare compliance and protected health information (PHI) regulations, and integrating AI into operational workflows.
“Paul has an outstanding ability to work directly with leadership teams to integrate Al into the very DNA of their operations,” says Gary Salman, CEO and co-founder of Black Talon Security, in a release. “His methodology ensures that the adoption of intelligent systems results in frictionless workflows and a significant, compounding boost to the bottom line, along with enhanced security.”
Blocchi to Lead Client AI Implementation
With over 30 years of experience in healthcare technology and a decade in AI design and deployment, Blocchi will focus on applying AI to enhance business operations and security for the company’s clients.
“Al is a powerful tool, but the ultimate objective remains human-centric: empowering teams to evolve and businesses to scale sustainably,” says Paul Blocchi, in a release. “My goal is to enable Black Talon’s clients to scale productivity and profit through intelligent AI implementation, while also maximizing protection against cyber risks.”
AI-Driven Tools for Cyber Risk Management
An early project under this initiative is the integration of Guidebot into the EAGLEi platform. Guidebot is an AI-driven knowledge base and chat function designed to help users understand and use the platform’s cyber risk data. The company plans to introduce a suite of AI-supported products and consulting services in the coming year.
