Henry Schein is reminding customers that its Customer Assistance Hotline is available for dental professionals affected by flooding in Kentucky.

Henry Schein reminded customers in Kentucky that the Henry Schein Customer Assistance Hotline is open for dentists and physicians who may experience operational, logistical, or financial issues as a result of damage caused by the recent floods.

The toll-free number for all Henry Schein customers is 800-999-9729. The hotline is open 24/7, with real-time assistance available from Team Schein members from 8 am to 6 pm Eastern Time.

The flooding in Kentucky is part of a nation-spanning system of thunderstorms that has brought unprecedented rain to areas from Nevada to West Virginia. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency and 37 people have already died as a result of the intense flooding in the eastern part of the state. The event has been described as a 1,000-year flood.

“Our thoughts are with the people and communities impacted by these devastating floods, and we stand ready to support dentists, physicians, and their teams with recovery and rebuilding efforts,” said Stanley M. Bergman, chairman of the board and chief executive officer. “Team Schein is here to help our customers whose practices may be damaged or otherwise affected, and we encourage health care professionals to contact our hotline for assistance.”

The Henry Schein Customer Assistance Hotline remains open throughout the year to help practitioners during their preparation and recovery from disasters.
