Live surgery and comedian David Spade will appear at Dentsply Sirona’s DS World 2022 in Las Vegas.

Dentsply Sirona is bringing back live surgery for DS World 2022 in Las Vegas, the company announced, along with other clinical education, speakers, and industry experts, networking opportunities, and entertainment.

DS World takes place from September 15- 17, 2022, at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada.

After a successful DS World 2021, connecting more than 7,000 experts, industry leaders, dental professionals, and students in a hybrid event, this year’s participants will once again have the opportunity to meet in person. 

DS World 2022 will provide access to over 100 expert speakers across a wide range of academic content, covering nearly every area of dentistry, all grounded in building connected dental solutions for practices and patients.

Farhad Boltchi, DMD, MS, American Board-certified periodontist and CDOCS resident faculty member, will perform simulcasted dental implant surgery live. He will highlight step-by-step details regarding the use of digital technology to aid in practical diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical, and restorative protocols to achieve predictable outcomes with implant therapy in the esthetic zone.

This year, full practices are encouraged to attend with a new Bring your Team offer to enable all dental professionals to meet, share ideas, and learn from each other.

Spade became well known during his five-year stint as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. He continues to be a box office draw and does stand-up tours nationwide.
