Ormco Corp, Orange, Calif, is hosting four passive self-ligation seminars, titled “PSL Fundamentals–Level I.”
The 1-day seminars, now open for registration, will take place on June 5 in Philadelphia, Pa; June 5 in Nashville, Tenn; June 26 in Chicago; and June 26 in Las Vegas.
The seminars will begin with the fundamentals of passive self-ligation, including understanding friction and binding friction, and will also explore its key benefits. The course will delve into the diagnostics and expanded planning possibilities with light-force PSL. Protocols for passive-system treating topics will include bracket placement and when to bypass teeth, variable torque and when to choose what, archwire sequencing and elastic protocols, and finishes that transform patients into “practice ambassadors.” The seminars are designed to provide the knowledge needed to treat cases more efficiently, with fewer auxiliary appliances and better patient comfort.
