The Patterson Foundation, the private grant-making foundation within Patterson Companies, has awarded more than $114,000 in grant funding to seven nonprofit organizations. One of the largest grant recipients this past quarter was Wichita, Kan-based America’s Dentists Care Foundation (ADCF).

ADCF, a national nonprofit organization that facilitates the delivery of charitable oral healthcare to the underserved, was given $30,000 to fund the purchase of a trailer for the transport of dental equipment to Mission of Mercy (MOM) clinics across the country. MOM clinics provide free oral healthcare to any person who attends on a first come, first serve basis.

“Grant support from the Patterson Foundation is, and has been, a key contributor to ADCF’s ability to effectively pursue our mission,” says Bill Blasing, executive director of America’s Dentists Care Foundation. “The generous grant that we’ve recently been awarded will allow ADCF to replace our current 45-chair clinic trailer that is no longer road worthy to take our expensive equipment across America. The Patterson Foundation has helped us solve that problem, and in doing so has helped many patients to receive care from quality, well-maintained equipment.  We can’t thank the Patterson Foundation enough for their generosity and this much-needed assistance in our mission.”
