Skygen has partnered with TeamSmile to provide oral care to needy children through local sports franchises.

Skygen, a provider of vision and dental benefit management services and software as a service (SaaS) solutions, announced a partnership with TeamSmile, whose mission is to provide children in need with a life-changing dental experience through the power of sports.

In partnership with teams in the NFL, MLB, NBA, major colleges, and more, TeamSmile will conduct large-scale dental clinics in stadiums and arenas throughout the country. Through the TeamSmile model, Skygen and TeamSmile expect to serve more than 5,000 children in 2023, partnering on programs in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Philadelphia, and Milwaukee.

“At Skygen, we believe that every community should have access to dental care,” said Steve Berryman, chief executive officer of Skygen. “Our partnership with TeamSmile ensures that we are helping to meet the needs of underserved children across the country and supporting happy and healthy smiles.”

TeamSmile is the nation’s premier advocacy group that facilitates transformative dental care services for underserved children by bringing oral health care professionals and organizations together in a spirited and community-oriented setting.

“We are thrilled to partner with Skygen to help us fulfill our mission and give children in underserved areas access to the oral care they need to live a healthy life,” said John McCarthy, TeamSmile executive director. “Skygen genuinely wants to make a positive difference through our organization, but the children that we serve will be the true beneficiaries. We are grateful to Skygen for its support and look forward to doing great work together.”

As a major partner of TeamSmile, Skygen will also use its resources and reach to support specific, targeted programs that positively impact the lives of children across the country.
