According to the orthodontic service organization, it is on track to surpass its 2020 total of affiliated orthodontic practices added.
Smile Doctors, an orthodontic service organization (OSO), announced nine group practices in seven states joined the organization in the second quarter of 2021. The addition of a practice in Maryland represents the OSO’s first move into the state. Smile Doctors now has a total of 258 locations in 23 states.
According to Smile Doctors, it is on pace to surpass its 2020 total of affiliated practices added. Since January, Smile Doctors has affiliated with a total of 36 locations.
