AccepTx, Las Vegas, made a pitch to venture capitalists at the annual Silver & Gold Venture Capital Conference in Reno, Nevada.

The event, sponsored by Nevada’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, Golden Capital Network, and the Sierra Angels, took place October 22 and 23 at The Siena Hotel Spa Casino.

"It is a great honor for us to be invited to present at this prestigious capital conference," said Brett Blake, president and CEO of AccepTx.  “It comes at an opportune time as we are in the middle of a fund-raising round to help us prepare for our official product launch in February at the AAO Tech Show in Las Vegas.”

AccepTx is an orthodontic case-acceptance software solution. The software enables orthodontic staff to populate customizable, prebuilt reports during the initial exam process, ensuring that patients are charged fairly and the practice is compensated properly.

"Informal evaluations show that the average practice loses 10% of net income per year from improperly calculated fee schedules," said Jed Feller, DDS, MSD, a practicing orthodontist and founder of AccepTx. "With AccepTx, you can eliminate those fee-calculation losses, resulting in an extra $15,000–$75,000 a year in net income."
