According to the AAO, the 2011 Annual Session mobile Internet browser is now available and accessible to anyone using a smart phone. There is also a native application for the iPhone available via iTunes. The system allows attendees to view session details, create their own agendas, network with other attendees, complete session evaluations, and view exhibitor information. Any member wishing to use the mobile service, but who does not have a smart phone, will be able to rent an iPod Touch on-site at a kiosk that will also offer assistance with using the technology.
