KOMET USA, Rock Hill, SC, introduces WS Diamond Strips, designed to contour and shape restorations in the interproximal regions. WS Diamond Strips are available in two different versions, both made out of stainless steel with a diamond coating. According to the company, the strips have a honeycomb design for better chip removal and higher flexibility than the standard traditional dental strips.
WS Diamond Strips are single-sided, and are available in two widths (2.5 and 3.75 mm) and three grits (medium, fine, and extra-fine). DS Diamond Strips are single sided, and come in two widths (2.5 and 3.75 mm) and four grits (coarse, medium, fine, and extra-fine). The medium grit is also available as double-sided version. All diamond strips are autoclavable.
