K Software, Ashland, Ken, has released kBilling v3.9, a Windows invoicing and billing application that lets you print and e-mail invoices, track payments, and charge credit cards.

Version 3.9 features ACH support, PCI-compliant encryption for credit card numbers, batch payment processing and batch envelope printing, import and export support for customer and product lists, and automated backups for added security.

According to the company, orthodontists can install the software and, within an hour, be creating and e-mailing invoices. kBilling can process an unlimited number of customers, invoices, products, and services. If you have multiple companies, you can consolidate all of them in kBilling. The program is network-ready.

The program allows you to charge credit cards over the Internet using a GoToBilling, IPPAY, Authorize.Net, Verisign, SkipJack (Novera), QuantumGatewayor, or Plug N’ Pay account. kBilling lets you password-protect all of your files. The program is fully compatible with Mozy, an online backup service.

kBilling v3.9 runs under Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000, costs $99 for a single-user license, and may be purchased online here. The software comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and you can download a 30-day trial version of kBilling from the company’s Web site.
