Ormco Corp, Orange, Calif, has launched an enhanced version of its Damon Doctor Locator, an online search tool that allows users to locate nearby orthodontists in the Damon System.
Users can access the locator tool via the web, Facebook and web-enabled devices.
The program uses location detection technology to provide a targeted list of Damon doctors without requesting the user’s address or zip code information, according to Ormco.
The enhanced version of the program features an enlarged map, animated features, and a greater number of search results.
Users can email search results or share them via social media, a feature that can benefit users searching on behalf of a family member.
The program also benefits physicians by increasing the online visibility of their practices, according to Ormco.
