Sunstar Americas has announced the eight recipients of this year’s GUM Healthy Gums Healthy Life®/RDH Award of Distinction.
The annual award, sponsored by Sunstar Americas and RDH magazine, was presented at the 2007 RDH Under One Roof Summer Conference in Washington, DC. The conference, attended by 860 dental hygienists, offered hands-on workshops and information on the latest developments in dental hygiene.
The recipients will be featured on the cover of the September 2007 issue of RDH Magazine. Included in the article will be a special feature section showcasing the winning hygienists.
The winners, who are all registered dental hygienists, include Donna Grzegorek, Algonquin, Ill; Linda Bohacek, Eau Claire, Wis; Diana Corbin, Sperryville, Va; Judy Shimamoto, Marshall Islands; Cynthia Dixon, Houston; Carol Lee, Sacramento, Calif; Sandra Berger, Freehold, NJ; and Millie Thaw, Deer Park, NY.
These dental hygienists were honored for the role they play in helping patients lead healthier lives, their achievements within the dental profession, and their dedication to public service within the communities in which they live.
