On February 1st, 100 children were treated by dental practitioners at Temple University School of Dentistry, in Philadelphia, as part of the ADA’s Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) Day, a national program that provides dental services to more than 500,000 underserved children in 2,000 communities nationwide.

At the event, dentists and hygienists volunteered their services, which included oral screening, basic treatment, and education.

Henry Schein Dental and its 50 supplier partners, in addition to Colgate-Palmolive and DEXIS, two other primary sponsors of GKAS, distributed products that allowed the dentists and their team to provide the free oral health care to children from low-income families.
