Adstra Systems, Chadds Ford, Pa, introduces a flexible appointment book that provides options for multiple providers and varying appointment lengths, and allows users to associate treatment plans and estimated fees with appointments. The flexible appointment book is an integrated component of Adstra’s full-featured practice-management software program.
In an office with multiple orthodontists, schedules can be defined for each provider or for all providers at the same time, with restrictions for any week. The appointment book allows users to determine appointment length in units and to define (or change) the length of units (in minutes). Patient names and comments can be shown, or hidden for privacy purposes. Symbols indicate medical alerts, unconfirmed appointments, and checked-in patients.
