The new AURA Ai platform combines healthcare knowledge with practice-specific data to help administrators manage daily operations and compliance securely.
Black Talon Security has launched AURA Ai, a secure artificial intelligence companion designed to provide support for doctors, dentists, and practice administrators. The platform aims to reduce administrative burdens by assisting with daily operational and compliance tasks.
Customized Practice Support
The system addresses challenges associated with navigating HIPAA, OSHA, human resources, cybersecurity, and office policies. At the core of the platform is the Knowledge Vault, a secure repository that holds a practice’s approved materials, such as employee handbooks, standard operating procedures, and incident-response plans. AURA utilizes this content to provide customized responses based on the organization’s specific protocols.
“Doctors and practice administrators are asked to be experts in almost every aspect of running a healthcare organization, and that is no longer realistic,” says Gary Salman, chief executive officer and co-founder of Black Talon Security, in a release. “We created AURA in response to an urgent need we saw among our clients and other healthcare professionals. They required an AI companion that can answer questions, clarify next steps, and collaborate on the work, while operating within a more controlled environment designed to protect sensitive healthcare information.”
Workflow and Interaction Features
Users can interact with AURA via natural conversation and voice interaction. The platform includes screen analysis capabilities to review documents, financial reports, and workflows directly on a user’s computer. Additionally, a Visual Feed feature allows users to show the AI a physical space, device, or workflow through a camera to receive guidance.
These tools allow administrators to draft standard operating procedures, prepare employee communications, organize incident-response steps, and create onboarding materials. The AI can also assist in evaluating expansion markets by summarizing growth opportunities and researching demographics.
