The 2008 AAO Technology Conference will be held Friday through Sunday, February 8–10, 2008, at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. According to William C. Gaylord, DDS, president of the AAO, the limited-attendance conference will help orthodontists "learn how to harness new technologies and implement them in your practice."
John Dvorak, contributing editor of PC Magazine, trend watcher and prognosticator, will kick off the meeting with his keynote presentation on technology’s role in the orthodontic practice. The conference will also feature information on network security, patient-education animations, 3D imaging, computer-generated appliances, and technology trends.
Speakers will include David Sarver, DMD, MS; W. Ronald Redmond, DDS, MS; and James Mah, DDS, DMSc.
