The March 23 CE webinar will provide a summary of current pandemic safety guidance and simplify complex interim OSHA, CDC, FDA, and EPA guidance for orthodontic practices.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is offering the webinar, COVID-19 Tune-Up: 7 Point Safety Check with Jackie Dorst, on March 23, 2021 at 11:00 am CT.

Attendees who complete the webinar will earn 1.25 CE credits.

One year after the COVID-19 pandemic closed orthodontic practices, OSHA, CDC, FDA, and EPA continue to publish updated interim guidance for safety. Given that new information about vaccines, emerging virus variants, and ventilation can be overwhelming for the busy orthodontic team, Dorst’s COVID-19 Tune-Up, will provide a concise summary on current pandemic safety guidance.

Dorst’s 7 Point Safety Check is designed to simplify complex interim guidance for orthodontic practices and will cover virus transmission and emerging variants; PPE—FDA-approved and contingency management; extraoral and intraoral evacuation aerosol management; air treatment options; vaccines; sterilization; and disinfection.

The webinar will teach attendees the COVID-19 facts and help them understand how the latest safety guidance protects the team and patients. Attendees will learn to identify FDA-cleared and FDA-approved PPE; locate the EPA disinfectant list for SARs-CoV-2; and list OSHA PPE recommended for AGP.

Attendees must register to participate in the webinar.
