Chad Greer, a former vice president for TeleVox Software, is the new president of the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA). Greer recently departed TeleVox after holding numerous executive positions during his 13-year career at the company. Greer will relocate to AOA’s corporate headquarters in the Atlanta area from his current home in Mobile, Ala.
“We are extremely excited about the strategic vision and respected leadership that Chad brings to our company,” said Doug Depew, DMD, MS, PC, founder and academic director of the AOA. “His experience and innovative talents will be a perfect fit as the expansion of the business unfolds.”
According to an announcement from the AOA, Greer plans to focus on extending accessibility for both tenured and newly hired staff members within orthodontic practices, enhancing continuing education programs, and increasing supplemental education options for everyone in the practice.
“To say we have big plans is an understatement,” Greer said. “This profession is one of the most progressive markets in health care, and we plan to bring new and exciting services to benefit the entire orthodontic community. I am extremely proud to represent the AOA and the passionate team that has made it such a huge success.”
