Starting February 28, 2014, Carestream Dental, Atlanta, is offering a series of 3D hands-on events—held at different locations across the country—aimed at providing clinicians with advanced training on the company’s CS 3D imaging software. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with other dental professionals.
According to the company, each attendee will be provided with a computer workstation and sample clinical cases for study during the program. A course guide will lead each attendee through a series of learning steps aimed at improving performance and provide a systematized process for viewing 3D scans.
Among the topics to be discussed during the sessions:
- Layout and functions of the 3D software
- Functionality of slicing tabs
- Navigating and manipulating 3D renderings
- Implant planning functions
- Reporting options
Jordan Reiss, US sales director of 3D imaging for Carestream Dental, and Ryan Roosekrans, 3D imaging specialist for Carestream Dental, will take turns instructing the various 3D hands-on events.
The courses will be held on Fridays, from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, with breakfast and lunch included. There is a $99 registration fee for each course.
