Attendees will learn the key financial and business elements for both parties to consider to ensure a successful collaboration in the short-term and long-term.

Henry Schein Dental Business Institute will host an upcoming webinar, “Forming an Effective Partnership: Financial and Business Considerations,” on Tuesday, September 15, from 8:00 to 9:00 pm ET. Interested attendees can register on the website.

The longevity and financial health of a practice often depends on the partnership between owners. Transition and succession planning and financial reasons are common drivers for forming these partnerships; but there are also key financial and business elements for both parties to consider to ensure a successful collaboration in both the short-term and long-term.

Thomas Snyder, DMD, MBA, senior director with Henry Schein Professional Practice Transitions, will lead the webinar, where he will review the intricacies involved in properly planning a partnership, including the economic considerations; common business entities and buy-in strategies; key issues to address in any partnership agreement; and common methods for structuring partner compensation.

A renowned consultant, lecturer, and author, Snyder has lectured at major dental meetings throughout the United States and Canada over a span of 28 years. In addition to his role at Henry Schein, he is currently a member of the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and is also a member of the executive committee of the alumni association for Penn Dental.
