Sleep Group Solutions, North Miami Beach, Fla, will offer its CEU dental sleep medicine seminar in a number of cities in May. The course will be offered in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; Oklahoma City; Dallas; Washington; Detroit; and New York.
The Ft. Lauderdale session will be held May 3 to 4, 2013, and will be led by Vesna Sutter, DDS. The Oklahoma City session will also be held May 3 to 4, 2013, and will be led by Marty Lipsey, DDS. Lipsey will also lead the May 10 and 11, 2013, session held in Dallas. Meanwhile, Bryan Keropian, DDS, will be the instructor for the May 10 to 11, 2013, session in Washington. The Detroit and New York sessions will be held May 17 and 18, 2013. Michael Hnat, DMD, will lead the Detroit session, while Damian Blum, DMD, will lead the New York course.
The course provides an introduction to sleep stages and disorders, including sleep apnea, and provides information on home sleep studies and patient treatment. A review of oral appliances, including TAP, Respire, EMA, SilentNight, and others is included. The course also covers medical insurance billing.
