Opal Orthodontics, South Jordan, Utah, is offering an Efficient Class II Mechanics course in Park City, Utah from March 1 to 2, 2013. The course will be led by Robert Miller, DDS, who has nearly 25 years of experience on Class II correction.

The course will include a review of recent scientific studies published on Class II correctors with an emphasis on changes to the lower incisors. A discussion of devices such as TADs and miniplates for Class II mechanics and how to properly place a precision appliance will also be addressed.

The course will be hosted at the Park City Mountain Resort. Attendees completing the course will earn up to 8 CE credits.

Miller completed his orthodontic residency at the Medical College of Virginia in 1985. For three years he served as chief of orthodontics for the US Air Force in the Philippines, before beginning his private practice in Culpeper, Va, in 1988.
