Dexis LLC and Henry Schein Inc have announced an agreement to transfer certain assets and liabilities relating to the Dentrix proprietary digital imaging business to Dexis. The agreement includes the ImageRAYi and Easy Ray sensors, Image CAM HD intraoral camera, the Dentrix Image, Easy Image, Dentrix Clarity, and Vipersoft software applications. All imaging products offered by Dexis will be distributed by Henry Schein.
“Dexis and Henry Schein have enjoyed a successful exclusive distribution partnership since 2005,” says Mike Donohoe, president of Dexis. “As this relationship has developed, both companies wanted to further improve services to their customers by recognizing and leveraging their respective strengths.”
Dentrix Dental Systems, a division of Henry Schein, will continue to separately develop, sell, and support the Dentrix and Easy Dental practice management systems and related services.
