The Brace Face Kit is a new at-home management kit designed for patients in active orthodontic treatment. Designed by orthodontic assistants, the product aims to help patients and families manage common braces issues between appointments.
Kit Contents and Resources
The kit includes professional-quality orthodontic instruments and practical resources housed in a portable storage case. Specific contents include a distal end cutter, plugger, Mathieu plier, brace relief gel, and two alcohol wipes.
Additionally, the kit features five how-to cards equipped with QR codes that link directly to instructional videos, guiding patients through minor adjustments and maintenance.
Extending Patient Support
The product is intended to serve as a dedicated resource for patients whether they are at home, traveling, at school, or on the field. For orthodontic practices, it offers a method to extend patient support beyond the chair and helps patients feel prepared throughout their treatment process.
The developers note that the Brace Face Kit is intended solely for at-home management between appointments and does not replace professional orthodontic care.
