Version 11.0 of Kodak Orthotrac Practice-Management Software offers a variety of new features to help make orthodontic practices more efficient and eliminate reliance on paper-based systems.

The new software adds customized views in the treatment card, enhanced note-taking capabilities in the charting module, and drag-and-drop scheduling with an optional clipboard. In addition, new reports have been added, including a Wilting Referral Report to show the decline in patient referrals from outside orthodontists; a Referrals Out Report to show the patients referred out to orthodontists for a specific date range; and a Future Patient Age Report to show future patients (nonpatient family members of existing patients) who will be a certain age in a specified month and year.

Other new features/benefits of ORTHOTRAC Software version 11.0 include the following:

• MICROSOFT SQL 2005 database compatibility: Orthotrac version 11.0 converts Access databases to
SQL Server databases.

• Access to Kodak Orthodontic Imaging Software—the software that runs Kodak digital radiography and photography systems—directly from practice management desktops. Users can view, manage, and even acquire digital radiography images without switching between computers or software programs.

• Macintosh compatibility: Orthotrac can now be used on a Macintosh operating system by running Windows XP via Boot Camp, Fusion, or Parallels.

• The ability to view archived schedule days with the scheduler displaying completed and no-show appointments. When viewing a schedule day that has already passed, the scheduler is displayed in gray colors, indicating an archived day.
