topsOrtho, Marietta, Ga, has released topsOrtho™ version 4.0 of its Mac-based orthodontic practice-management and imaging software. According to the company, data speeds have been increased by as much as 500%, with no sacrifice in image quality.
Version 4.0 features improved image editing capabilities. The software automatically imports images, so users no longer need a supplemental program for that task.
This version also allows topsEcho™, an iPhone application for topsOrtho customers, to quickly retrieve quality patient images over a cellphone connection.
