AskDentistry.ai launches as the first AI-powered knowledge platform designed to provide dental professionals with instant, evidence-based answers backed by peer-reviewed sources.

A new artificial intelligence-powered knowledge platform, AskDentistry.ai, has officially launched, offering dental professionals instant access to peer-reviewed, evidence-based information. The platform, developed using licensed technology from Dalhousie University and the University of Florida, will be showcased this week at CDA Presents 2025 in Anaheim, Calif.

Bridging AI and Peer-Reviewed Dental Literature

Designed specifically for the dental industry, AskDentistry.ai integrates AI with a curated database of peer-reviewed literature, clinical guidelines, and expert insights. The platform is intended to help clinicians, researchers, students, and industry teams quickly find reliable information on materials, clinical procedures, and patient education.

The Pro version of AskDentistry.ai provides direct links to peer-reviewed sources with each response, giving users the ability to review the evidence behind every recommendation.

Leaders Call the Platform a Game-Changer

“We’re thrilled to introduce AskDentistry.ai to the dental community,” said Dr. Richard Price, Professor at the School of Dentistry, Dalhousie University. “This platform is a game-changer—bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and clinical care. By making accurate dental knowledge more accessible, we aim to elevate both education and patient outcomes.”

Dr. Mateus Rocha, Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, noted the importance of transparency in AI tools. “AI chatbots like GPT will always give you an answer, but can you trust it?” Rocha said. “As a clinical professor and AI researcher, I need confidence that every response is anchored in peer-reviewed, reputable sources I can verify. AskDentistry.ai reveals the exact references behind each answer, allowing me to double-check a material’s clinical indication, advise a student or colleague on a procedure, or delegate a supply fact-check to my assistant. All with the reassurance that the information is transparent, accurate, and traceable.”

Customizable for Clinical and Commercial Teams

Organizations can further customize the platform by integrating their own internal resources, such as training manuals and product documentation, making it useful for practice teams, sales teams, and customer service representatives.
