SoftSmile will mark its entrance into the German market at the upcoming TPAO Congress in Hamburg, where it will offer live demos of VISION, its automated treatment planning software.

SoftSmile announced its inaugural participation at the TPAO Congress, from November 24-25, 2023, in Hamburg, Germany. The event will mark the NY-based company’s global expansion, with live demos of VISION, its automated orthodontic clear aligner treatment planning software, to the German market.

The TPAO Congress is put on by the Association for Treatment Planning in Aligner Orthodontics. The association is working to foster interdisciplinary collaboration between orthodontists and dental technicians to increase efficiency and quality of digitally planned clear aligner treatment.

According to the company, at the heart of its TPAO showcase is the VISION Web Portal, a platform designed to augment digital workflows and revolutionize treatment planning. The portal reportedly offers a number of benefits to orthodontic professionals including proprietary AI designed to ensure confidence in the proposed treatment plan and efficient communication between patients, doctors, and techs to help save time. In addition, the company says the portal will allow users to seamlessly manage cases and adjust treatment plans and design custom workflows with a variety of services and integrations. Meanwhile, patients can see before-and-after images helping them to visualize anticipated results.

VISION reportedly works with all 3D printers so doctors can print aligners in-house. Doctors pay per case, eliminating hidden fees or monthly subscriptions, according to SoftSmile.
