Infection prevention expert Jackie Dorst, RDH, BS, discusses the current infectivity rate, new variants, the vaccines and what this all means for the orthodontic practice. As Jackie says, this is not the time to relax. Doctors and staff need to continue mask use, social distancing, temperature checks, screenings, and other airborne aerosol disease prevention/infection control protocols even after vaccination.
