Nederman’s FX2 extraction arms, MFS HEPA filter, and fan arrangements, which can reduce aerosol exposure, will be available through Benco Dental.
Nederman, a provider of clean air products and solutions for the workplace, has partnered with dental distributor Benco Dental to deliver Nederman’s aerosol control solution to dental offices nationwide. The company’s FX2 extraction arms, MFS HEPA filter, and fan arrangements can be used to reduce the risks of hazardous aerosol exposure for dentists, patients, and staff during routine dental procedures.
“Benco Dental is a premier player in the dental distribution market. We are excited for the future given the combination of Nederman clean air solutions and Benco’s strong distribution channel into a large dental market,” says Phil Templeton, vice president of sales for Nederman.
According to Nederman, its ceiling-mounted FX2 extraction arm is ideal for dental environments due to its flexibility and easy maneuvering and positioning. Once it’s installed, the arm can be located near the patient to capture the aerosol at the source and can be moved out of the way when no longer in use. Nederman recommends exhausting the collected and diluted aerosol safely from the building using a certified HEPA filter when needed.
Nederman’s aerosol control solution is available for single or multi-chair operatory arrangements, as well as custom engineering and installation planning to provide the best clean air solutions to meet the need.
