Ortho Organizers introduces a stainless-steel bracket-placing tweezers that comes in sizes 5 1/4 or 6 1/4. The tips of the tweezers are serrated for a firm grip on brackets. The opposite end functions as a slot aligner, allowing the end to be put in the bracket slot to align the bracket on the tooth. The tweezers is autoclaveable. 
Lester A. Dine offers the Dine Digital SLR Intraoral Camera, which features a lightweight 60-mm macrolens that accomplishes the full range of dental photography from a single tooth to quadrants, anteriors, laterals, and occlusals, but from a closer distance. The lens can be used for manual or autofocus photography, is available for Nikon and Canon Digital SLR cameras, and has the same range capability as the 105-mm macrolens. The system also features Dine Flash, which is designed for Digital SLR cameras and provides flash metering through the lens, as well as a ring flash for intraoral photography and a point flash for facial picture-taking. The Dine Digital Solution kit includes a intraoral mirror and cheek retractors; a 256-MB memory card; a memory-card reader; and a hard carrying case for the camera, lens, flash, and accessories. The camera body, lens, and flash weigh a total of 3 pounds. 
Masel offers Therm-A-Form UltraTM martensitic archwire, which is a copper-free, body-heat-activated, nickel titanium archwire that has lower ligating forces than copper alloy wire. Therm-A-Form archwires are fully austenitic at 90°F (32°C). At room temperature, the wire is soft and malleable, readily accepts bends, is easy to ligate, and inserts into bracket slots. During treatment, shape integrity and increased resilience provide resistance to permanent sets as well as moving forces for extended periods of time. Patients can temporarily ease discomfort by eating or drinking anything cold. 
Glenroe Technologies offers the Tuff Guard orthodontic mouthguard, which protects upper and lower arches. It features a breakaway strap to protect the user and contains three breathing vents that allow optimum airflow. The mouthguard is available in 15 vivid colors, allowing patients to match sports team colors. Multicolor packs are also available. The mouthguard is available in one size, with or without a helmet strap, and it can be easily trimmed with scissors to fit the patient’s mouth. 
Sultan Dental offers Topex® Prep & Polish™ Paste, which delivers a consistent flour of pumice blend that is free of flavors, oils, dyes, and fluoride. It may be used to prep a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontic etching and bonding, acid-etching procedures, sealants, restorative cementation, and bleaching and whitening techniques. Prep & Polish can also be used for cleaning and polishing stained teeth, amalgam, and composite restorations. The paste is free of glutens and gluten derivatives. Each resealable container of Topex Prep & Polish Paste contains 100 disposable unit cups, each of which contains approximately 2 grams. Two Upgrade® disposable prophy angles and one autoclaveable prophy ring are included free in each package to facilitate paste handling. 
KaVo Dental introduces the GENTLEsilence 6500B high-speed handpiece. By emitting only 57db(A), the handpiece helps create a quiet and less stressful work environment. It features 19 watts of power and a small head to provide improved access and maneuverability. The four-port water spray completely cools the bur and extends bur life. The durable hygienic coating improves tactile feedback and user comfort. KaVo’s third-generation cellular optic glass rod provides even, shadow-free illumination. The automatic drive air adjustment extends turbine life. The handpiece fits onto any existing manufacturer’s fiber optic tubing with the versatile MULTIflex quick disconnect coupler. Dental Creations offers Wonderfill®, a tongue and void filler used for casting dental models. Wonderfill is a premixed, water-soluble filler that requires no set-up time or cleaning. Place Wonderfill in tongue voids left in lower impressions, then add plaster. Once the plaster sets, Wonderfill is easily removable, providing a clean model. In addition, Wonderfill eliminates bubbles, air pockets, missing teeth, and undercuts for better-fitting appliances and bleaching trays. 
Dentaurum introduces the tomas® concept, which creates a temporary anchorage point and can replace headgear. The tomas features the tomas pin, a 22-cross slot design, so the tomas pin functions similarly to a traditional bracket slot. The tomas pins are made of pure titanium, are available in 8- and 10-mm lengths, and have a diameter of only 1.2 mm.
