The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) announced recently that it has certified or recertified 70 examinees who participated in the Clinical Examination held August 23-26, 2012, in St Louis.
Seven orthodontists successfully completed the Gateway Certification Examination, thereby maintaining their certification. In addition, 58 orthodontists completed the Initial Certification Examination (ICE), and 14 orthodontists banked cases for the eventual completion of the ICE. Four orthodontists successfully completed the Beginning Certification Examination, and one orthodontist completed the Voluntary Recertification Examination.
