The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) certified or recertified 83 examinees who participated in the Clinical Examination held June 1 to 7, 2013, in St Louis. The list of examinees who completed the Clinical Examination is available on the ABO website.
During this exam session, 42 orthodontists successfully completed the Gateway Certification Examination, thereby maintaining their certification. Thirty-eight orthodontists completed the Initial Certification Examination (ICE), and 18 orthodontists banked cases for the eventual completion of the ICE. Two orthodontists successfully completed the Beginning Certification Examination. In addition, one orthodontist completed the Voluntary Recertification Examination.
