The American Association of Orthodontists announced the 2026 award winners during its annual session, recognizing new practice and treatment products.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) named DM End-To-End Monitoring by DentalMonitoring and Celebrace by Celebrace as the winners of its 2026 New Products Showcase Award.

The winners were announced during the AAO 2026 Annual Session, held May 1 to 3 in Orlando, Florida.

2026 Showcase Award Winners

The annual competition highlights new products from exhibitors across the orthodontic industry. Winners were selected via onsite voting by orthodontists and residents attending the event, a process designed to reflect the preferences and needs of the orthodontic community.

DentalMonitoring received the Practice Product Award for DM End-To-End Monitoring. The connected platform uses proprietary AI technology, clinical insights, and patient communication tools to support orthodontic care. The system allows practices to stay connected with patients between visits, which is designed to strengthen clinical oversight and enable doctors to structure and monetize observation and retention programs.

Celebrace won the Treatment Product Award for its namesake product, Celebrace. The system integrates AI, digital workflows, and indirect bonding solutions. It aims to provide a streamlined approach to care tailored to individual patient needs by utilizing data-driven insights. In March, Celebrace won the AAO’s 2026 Ortho Innovator Award.

Annual Session Hosts 12,000 Attendees

The AAO 2026 Annual Session drew more than 12,000 registered attendees from 80 countries. The event featured over 200 sessions led by clinicians, researchers, and practice management experts, alongside an exhibit hall hosting more than 350 companies.

“The AAO Annual Session continues to provide orthodontists and their staff with the most reliable, independent and objective continuing education in the specialty, and a myriad of professional and personal growth opportunities,” says Michael Durbin, DDS, MS, newly installed AAO president, in a release. “This year’s event reinforced the AAO’s commitment to strengthen the specialty by bringing the latest technological advancements to practitioners from across the United States and throughout the world.”

The next AAO Annual Session is scheduled for June 4 to 6, 2027, in Vancouver. Event schedules and keynote speakers will be announced later this year, with registration opening in November 2026.
