Align Technology is collaborating with Disney’s upcoming film Freakier Friday to feature Invisalign product placements and launch a teen-focused marketing campaign centered on confidence and self-expression.


Align Technology announced a brand partnership with Disney tied to the August 8, 2025 release of Freakier Friday, the sequel to the 2003 movie Freaky Friday. The collaboration features Invisalign product placements in the film and a broader marketing campaign aimed at highlighting teen confidence and the role of orthodontic treatment in self-expression.

Product Placement and On-Screen Representation

Actress Julia Butters, a real-life Invisalign user and cast member of Freakier Friday, appears in the film using the aligners, representing what Align calls an authentic portrayal of a teen embracing orthodontic treatment. “I’m so excited to be a part of this iconic Freakier Friday cast and to partner with the Invisalign brand,” said Butters. “My Invisalign treatment has been such a positive experience, and I love how quickly it enhanced my smile.”

Marketing Campaign Targets Teens and Families

The partnership extends beyond the film itself. Align is running a multi-channel marketing campaign that includes co-branded video content featuring Butters, airing across platforms such as Disney+, Hulu, social media, and online. The campaign also features printed materials in participating orthodontic offices, a Snapchat AR lens, social media sweepstakes, and influencer participation from Invisalign Smile Squad creators.
