The Invisalign Professionals Whitening System, which features the Opalescence PF whitening formula, is designed to work with Invisalign clear aligners and Vivera retainers.
Align Technology has signed a multi-year supply and distribution agreement with Ultradent Products. Invisalign trained doctors will have exclusive access to a professional whitening system with the Opalescence PF whitening formula from Ultradent. Designed for use with Invisalign clear aligners and Vivera retainers, the whitening system will carry the co-branded name Invisalign Professional Whitening System – powered by Opalescence.
The product aims to offer the same whitening outcomes as the Opalescence PF product during active tooth movement with Invisalign aligners, as well as during passive retention using Vivera retainers. Invisalign system-trained doctors can use the solution for in-office teeth whitening treatment and doctor supervised at-home whitening.
The Invisalign Professional Whitening System will be commercially available in 2022.
