Smiles Change Lives (SCL) announced that American Orthodontics is no an official corporate partner. The company has been a supporter of the organization, which provides orthodontic treatment to children of families that cannot afford the full cost of orthodontic care, since 2015.

In 2017, American Orthodontics was recognized for its commitment to SCL with the Gini Award for Business Partner of the Year.

“We are thrilled to further our partnership with Smiles Change Lives,” says Michael Terrill, American Orthodontics vice president of marketing. “American Orthodontics takes great pride in furthering the orthodontic profession in many ways, and our partnership with Smiles Change Lives is a perfect fit for us.”

With this new partnership status, American Orthodontics will reportedly continue to support the orthodontic specialists that work with SCL to provide treatment, providing them with the products to treat the children. The company will also work closely with Smiles Change Lives to strategically increase the reach of SCL to as many orthodontists as possible, with the goal of ensuring every child in need has local access to orthodontic treatment.
