Two orthodontists have launched a new consulting firm. Ortho Consultants Group—started by Michael Stosich, DMD, MS, and Rohit Sachdeva, BDS, MDS—offers a range of services, and plans to work with new and existing orthodontic practices looking to begin, improve, or streamline their operations, as well as general dentistry practices in integrating orthodontics in their practices.
Ortho Consultants Group services include clinical management, focusing on establishing clinical best practices for braces and clear aligners, as well as orthodontic assistant best practices; administrative management, focusing on day-to-day management of the practice; expense optimization, looking at how practices can minimize expenses, including lab costs, marketing, and overhead; financial management, including the implementation of proper systems related to insurance, payment collections, and invoicing; orthodontic marketing; practice technology, focusing on helping practices determine the best technologies for them; and patient management, including best practices and software selection.
Stosich and Sachdeva are both board-certified orthodontists with extensive experience in orthodontics.
Stosich is the director of orthodontics at the University of Chicago and Comer’s Children’s Hospital. He’s been published extensively and lectures frequently on best orthodontic practice. Stosich leads a Chicago-area orthodontics practice.
Sachdeva is the co-founder and chief clinical officer of OraMetrix Inc. Orametrix was the first company to provide all-digital solutions for the design and fabrication of fixed appliances. He frequently lectures on clinical topics.
