The partnership expands Canadian access to the light-accelerated orthodontic treatment solution with local sales and support.

Biolux Technology has partnered with Ortho Arch to make its OrthoPulse light-accelerated orthodontic treatment solution available across Canada. The agreement leverages Ortho Arch to provide Canadian practices with local distribution and support for the technology.

Light Therapy for Orthodontic Treatment

OrthoPulse uses near-infrared light therapy to stimulate cellular activity and bone remodeling, supporting more predictable tooth movement and potentially reducing treatment time. The Health Canada-approved device is designed for use with both aligners and fixed appliances and can be incorporated into treatment plans without adding clinical complexity or chair time.

“As orthodontic practices continue to focus on efficiency, predictability, and patient experience, OrthoPulse has become an important part of how clinicians approach treatment,” says Michael Hendricks, chief revenue officer at Biolux Technology, in a release. “By improving the biology behind tooth movement, OrthoPulse helps doctors deliver more consistent outcomes and, in many cases, reduce overall treatment time. Partnering with Ortho Arch allows us to bring that value to Canadian providers with strong local support.”

Canadian Distribution and Practice Support

Ortho Arch will manage sales, onboarding, and ongoing clinical and practice support for OrthoPulse throughout Canada. The company will assist practices in adopting the technology as part of their standard treatment protocols.

“OrthoPulse is easy to implement, easy for patients to use, and highly complementary to both aligners and braces,” says Doug Bukaty, president and co-owner of Ortho Arch, in a release. “For Canadian orthodontists and dentists, this means more predictable tooth movement, greater confidence in treatment progression, and the opportunity to reduce time in treatment without disrupting existing workflows. We’re proud to partner with Biolux Technology to make OrthoPulse broadly available across Canada.”
